Nursing Leadership & Administration - Post-Master's Certificate

Are you a nurse with a master’s degree in nursing who desires specialized knowledge in nursing leadership and administration? Through this program you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop your visionary leadership skills and your impact on health care system improvement
  • Interact with caring full time faculty and a cohort of like- minded nurses
  • Gain new expertise through an internship in your area of choice
  • Fulfill the education criteria for the Nurse Executive Certification Exam (click here for eligibility critera)

Admission Requirements

  1. Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the US or Canada
  2. Clinical experience as an RN at least equivalent to 2 years full time in the last 4 years
  3. Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
  4. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in both graduate and undergraduate programs
  5. Official transcript from all previous undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
  6. Preadmission interview and/or info. meeting
  7. Completion of the program application

Modules (5-7 weeks each)

Non-matriculated students are welcome to take individual courses

  • Health Care Finance
  • Accounting for Managerial Decision Making
  • Human Resources in Health Care Organizations
  • Informatics in Nursing
  • Enlightened and Strategic Leadership in Nursing with Integrated Internship
