Sandra "Sam" Brzoza, MS, RN
Adjunct Professor of Nursing (Smith Hall 175)Biography
Sam lives in Webster, New York with her husband Bill. Both Sam and Bill enjoy many interests together such as, the history of buildings, furniture, antique cars, and gardening. Sam and Bill are members of Spiritus Christi church, Rochester, NY. Sam volunteers with the Buddy Readers mission, teaching children who are struggling and need extra help learning to read. Sam has taught at Roberts Wesleyan College for more than 20 years. Sam provides workshops and consults on Leadership and Management for healthcare organizations. After over 25 years serving as an Administrator in healthcare organizations, Sam realized the significance of a positive attitude. With that said, Sam went on to share John Maxwell’s book Attitude 101, with not only staff members and also many students over the past 25 years. Sam’s theme for FYS class is focused on the opportunity for students to assess their attitudes. In any spare time, one can find Sam quilting.
