2007 – Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Roberts Wesleyan College
2014 – Master of Science in Strategic Marketing, Roberts Wesleyan College
Where were you born?
Canandaigua, New York
Born and raised in the outskirts of Canandaigua NY. During college my mom and step dad moved to Florida so my home moved but my heart has always been in Canandaigua.
I have the best husband in the world, Nate Cronk, who graduated in 2005 from Roberts with a double major in Music & Religion/Philosophy. He works here at Roberts as the Associate Director of Admissions. We have been happily married since 2010.
Furthest place I have visited since graduating from Roberts?
My husband and I went on a road trip to visit our friends in Nashville, TN in the summer of 2011, which is the farthest I have gone since college, but we look forward to going to Europe and the Mediterranean after I am finished with my Master’s program.
One of my favorite professors was….
So hard to choose but I would say the ones I spent the most time with have an advantage in this category. You cannot mention one without the other, so Carrie & Ervin Starr would be a tie. I spent many hours in and out of the classroom working on what true leadership and management looks like through the SIFE program with their leadership and it was transformational for me.
Favorite Roberts memory?
I have some of the most amazing friends that I met at Roberts and there are a few very distinct moments that I will never forget. First would be the random weekly dance parties in our dorm room with our roommates, and second would be our Senior Cruise where I first got to know my husband.
Best advice given me while at Roberts?
During my time as a SIFE project leader I learned from Dr. Ervin Starr never to assume anything when leading a project! I experienced the pain of assuming everyone I was working with on a project knew what they were doing, or what they were taking care of, and the project turned out to be a flop because of it. To this day, it has helped me tremendously as I plan events and work with alumni in my current role.
