Biography:
Dr. Kristen Driskill has spent many years working in various school districts, both local and abroad, in the areas of literacy, special education, school improvement, and curriculum and instruction. She spent time as a special educator of grades Pre-K through 6, reading specialist for grades K-8, literacy coach for grades K-12, and professional development specialist for both teachers and administrators in a range of school districts. In addition, Dr. Driskill led many area teachers, administrators, and districts to revise curricula when implementing the Common Core Standards, including leading the effort to create a Regional ELA Curriculum. Since arriving at Roberts, Dr. Driskill has worked to update various programs to best reflect current practices in the field. In her spare time, Dr. Driskill enjoys spending time with her two daughters, dancing, reading, and traveling.
