Kaylen has joined the Wellness Center team for the 2022-2023 academic year as a graduate intern. They have previously worked as a Special Education Counselor and completed their undergraduate research thesis on Weight Bias in Eating Disorder Treatment: A Barrier to Patients with Atypical Anorexia Nervosa, in addition to an undergraduate thesis in gender narratives. Kaylen is interested in the areas of neurodiversity with a focus on ADHD and autism, eating disorders, gender affirming care, sex therapy, alternative creative expression, and much more! They enjoy making music playlists, long walks and hikes, drawing (specifically brains as random objects), writing poetry, and snuggles with their cat, Stevie!
