
Kayla Jackson, LCAT
CounselorKayla attended SUNY Buffalo State College and graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She then attended Nazareth College and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Art Therapy in 2004. She worked as an art therapist for Crestwood Children’s Center from 2004-2008 and at Rochester Institute of Technology as a mental health clinician from 2008-2016. She has extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed care and is currently a doctoral candidate in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Rochester. Kayla is a Board Certified Art Therapist, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and a Nationally Certified Counselor and has been working in private practice in Rochester, NY since 2016.
