As a professor, I feel that it is extremely important for me to pour into my students the compassion for learning, molding them by allowing them to utilize learned skills from the classroom, and fostering an environment of servant leadership. As an alum of Roberts Wesleyan, my previous professors prepared me to take on my doctoral program in Health Administration. The journey as an adult student is never an easy one, but having the support from my family, peers, and professors made my journey less rigorous.
Throughout my career, I have been able to participate in professional organizations such as United Ways Latino Leadership Program (LLDP) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Just recently I was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) after being identified through my post-doctorate college. I am a proud mom of three boys, and a grandma of one beautiful little girl and I spend all my free time with them.
