Voller Athletic Center Manager
Position Description/Responsibilities: The Voller Athletic Center (VAC) seeks applications for a Manager to oversee and manage the operations of the VAC and outside facilities. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling use of the center between athletic teams, the student body & community members/groups; and managing facility resources and programs to maximize experience for our students and all facility customers. The Manager also provides leadership for the VAC to assure customer satisfaction, safety, student supervision, and event coordination; creates quotes and contracts for external customers; explores opportunities for expanded use of the facilities to create additional revenue; and manages the VAC Membership program with attention to customer satisfaction, communications, program offerings, and revenue.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years experience in athletic, facility and/or event management required, including previous experience supervising staff. Strong customer service and organizational skills also required. Experience in marketing and promotion of events and activities and familiarity with conference and event planning essential.
