Undergraduate Recruiter/Admissions Counselor
Position Description/Responsibilities: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks candidates for the position of full-time Admissions Counselor. The key responsibility of this full-time position is to recruit students for Roberts Wesleyan College and assist them through the admissions process. The position involves frequent travel to high schools and other locations within assigned areas, effectively cultivating and managing an inquiry pool, regular communication and relationship development with a diverse population of prospective students; and assisting in Admissions sponsored campus activities, including evening and weekend functions.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and previous experience in sales, business and/or communications. Knowledge of Roberts Wesleyan College (particularly as it relates to academic programs, financial aid, and campus activities), strong decision-making and public relations skills, ability to effectively build relationships with students, excellent communication, organization, and writing skills required. Valid NYS driver’s license in good standing also required.
