Tennis Coach

The Athletics Department is seeking a Tennis Coach for both men’s and women’s tennis. This could be two separate part-time positions or one coach for both teams in a larger part-time role. Reporting to the Athletic Director, primary responsibilities include directing all facets of the NCAA Division II tennis program including recruiting athletes, scheduling games, budgeting, coordinating travel and implementing a competitive program as well as supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of the College and its Athletic Department and adherence to departmental, East Coast Conference, and NCAA policies and procedures.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree required with 2-3 years of college level coaching experience preferred. Master’s degree also preferred. Excellent tennis knowledge and expertise; strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.

Anticipated Start Date: August 2019
