The School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Assistant Clinical Professor position, beginning July 1, 2019. Rank and salary are based on degree earned, college teaching, and other professional experience.
Qualifications include an advanced degree in nursing and NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse. Preference will be given to nurses with current clinical practice. Candidates must be highly skilled and flexible, able to teach a wide variety of students in the undergraduate and graduate students in traditional and nontraditional programs.
The primary responsibility is clinical teaching in the lab, simulation and in clinical settings. Additional responsibilities include advising nursing students, serving on School of Nursing and college committees, and collaborating to develop new learning activities and community partnerships.

The School of Nursing has the largest undergraduate program at Roberts Wesleyan College. As a learning community grounded in the Christian faith and committed to excellence in nursing through innovative education, scholarship and service, the School of Nursing serves 350+ nursing students in growing pre-licensure and vibrant post-licensure bachelor of nursing degree programs and graduate programs with nursing education and nursing leadership/administration tracks. The School of Nursing is has a state of the art Simulation and Practice Lab facilities and newly renovated classroom space with excellent teaching technology.
