NES Executive Director of Seminary Administration
Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College invites applications for a full-time Executive Director of Seminary Administration. Northeastern Seminary is a fully-accredited, multi-denominational seminary offering M.A., M.Div., and D.Min. degrees. The Executive Director will lead the Seminary’s accreditation, program registration, evaluation and assessment processes, and the development of online and hybrid program offerings. She or he will also assist the Vice President/Dean in academic oversight, and the overall support and guidance of the institutional mission, academic goals, and strategic plan of the Seminary. Key areas of responsibility include primary leadership for distance learning programs, new program development and accreditation and approval processes for ATS, MSCHE, and NYSED. Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education or related field is required, doctoral degree preferred. Three-five years’ experience in educational administration, teaching, or related field, as well as a passion for Northeastern Seminary’s mission required. Additional requirements include superior management skills; accomplished written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to effectively interface with Cabinet, Board of Trustees and staff; innovative thinking, with a track record of translating strategic thinking into action plans and output; ability to make decisions and manage multiple complex priorities in a changing environment while anticipating future needs.
