Evening Supervisor, Voller Athletic Center

Position Description/Responsibilities:  The Voller Athletic Center seeks applications for a part-time (32 hours/week, 4 evenings/week) Evening Supervisor to oversee activities in the Center, including pool operation, student workers and events. Normal schedule is from 2:30-11:00pm during the school year and 1:00-9:30pm in the summer, though the schedule fluctuates based on the event calendar. Primary responsibilities include assuring excellent customer service to students, members and guests; supervision of student workers, oversight of pool operations, including lifeguards; event coordination, including leading set-up and tear down for arena events; overseeing the maintenance of the pool and weight rooms; and ensuring employee and facility safety. In addition, this person supports the VAC Manger in meeting overall Center objectives.

Qualifications: A high school diploma, CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications required. Additional requirements include one year of supervisory experience, excellent customer service, leadership, teamwork and organizational skills. Willingness to obtain Certified Pool Operator status also required. Associates degree desirable.
