Adjunct Faculty - Occupational Therapy

Roberts Wesleyan College invites candidates to apply for adjunct faculty positions for one of the first entry-level OTD Programs in New York State launching fall semester 2021.  Applicants are invited to be considered for a developing adjunct faculty pool.  The Occupational Therapy program is housed in the School of Natural and Social Sciences on the park-like campus in Rochester, New York (upstate), providing the program with the advantages of a suburban setting within a vibrant metropolitan area.

Roberts is an independent, coeducational liberal arts college in the Christian tradition with approximately 1900 students.  Our applicant OTD program is faith-based, rooted in occupational justice, and immersed in occupation-based participation and innovative growth to develop entry-level clinicians that are prepared to engage in leadership, emerging practice, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.

Required qualifications include a master’s level degree in OT or a related field (OT’s or health care professionals must be licensed in NYS).  An academic doctoral degree (OTD, PhD, DPT, EdD, or other related doctoral degree) is preferred.  Preference will be given to candidates with practice experience and/or prior academic experience.  Teaching responsibilities will be based on the candidate’s areas of expertise and course design in compliance with ACOTE Standards.
