Academic Records Coordinator, Department of Registration

Position Description/Responsibilities:  The Department of Registration seeks a team member for a full-time (40 hr/wk) Academic Records Coordinator for Traditional Students. Reporting to the Operations and Customer Care Manager, the Coordinator maintains the registration records for the traditional undergraduate programs. This position is the main point of contact for students, staff, faculty, and the public. Primary responsibilities include customer service to all constituents,  maintaining, updating and processing traditional undergraduate students records, liaison between Roberts Wesleyan College/Northeastern Seminary and the transcript provider, processing official transcripts, works with the Assistant Registrar in the transfer credit process, works closely with the Registrar to determine graduation status of students, works closely with faculty in regards to grading, independent/directed studies, overloads, and policy related issues, and maintains communication through campus video monitors.

Qualifications: A personal commitment to integrity. Associates degree with experience in higher education preferred. Understanding of the pertinent regulations dealing with the maintenance and confidentiality of FERPA is required. Excellent proactive customer service skills, strong listening and communication skills, and strong computer skills. Computer skills includes being able to work in the MS Office Suite products and the ability to learn other computer software systems quickly. High attention to detail and ability to effectively multitask are essential.
