Non Personally Identifiable Information Usage: Roberts Wesleyan University uses Google Analytics to manage site analytics. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends. These logs are used to administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Usage: In the course of using our website, you may choose to provide information to us through online forms, email or other electronic means. Any personally identifiable information you submit will be used by Roberts Wesleyan University only for the purpose(s) indicated. Requests for information will be directed to the appropriate staff to respond to the request, and may be recorded to help us improve our site to better respond to similar requests. 

All information collected is for our own purposes. Trusted and secure third party partners may have access to your data to help support enrollment at Roberts only on an as needed basis.

How do we protect PII? All information is for internal usage and stored securely in Roberts Wesleyan University servers. We use an SSL certificate. We do not and will not sell, share, trade, or rent information to others in ways other than what is disclosed in this policy.

Date of Birth collection:

We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Collecting your date of birth allows us to uniquely identify you in our admissions database. This prevents us from confusing you with someone with an identical first and last name.

Roberts Wesleyan University will not sell, exchange, rent or otherwise disclose for commercial purpose any information you provide through roberts.edu outside the scope of ordinary university functions.

A note about remarketing and cookies:

We are using remarketing tags through Google Analytics and Twitter so we can reach people who have previously visited our website and reach them with the right messages. This means that third-party vendors such as Google will show our ads on sites across the internet. These vendors use cookies to serve ads based on our website visitors' past visits.

Please note that these cookies are not tracking any personally identifiable information, which includes name, address, etc. They are only tracking your page visits.
