Drawing and Painting

The Painting and Drawing concentration builds from the foundations of traditional drawing to the exploration of contemporary definitions. You will find your individual voice throughout your studies.

You will learn about:

  • the traditional subjects of still life, landscape and investigation of tonal form
  • the human figure
  • experimental contemporary media

Drawing and painting will develop your perceptual thinking and will allow you to full explore these disciplines. You will also be encouraged to investigate the related media of Printmaking and Photography. You will be able to explore painting and drawing fully.
