Alumni Reflections, Julia Berkowicz, May '16

Psychology at Roberts is so much more than learning about terms, history, theories, and psychologists. I entered the Psychology Program at Roberts struggling with shyness and lacking self-confidence. During my four years as an undergraduate, I have been challenged by my professors, both academically and socially. Not only did they provide me with a great deal of knowledge in psychology, they taught me life lessons while instilling confidence in me along the way. Through their gracious support, I gained the confidence necessary to apply to graduate school and will be bringing my recently attained self-assurance, along with my improved study skills and interpersonal skills, with me to my new school as I continue on my path to becoming an occupational therapist. As I look back on the past four years, I am filled with gratitude for my professors and the wisdom, guidance and encouragement they provided.
