Musical Stage and Opera Workshop

Roberts Wesleyan College Musical Stage and Opera Workshop courses focus on teaching students all aspects of stage production.  From costumes, makeup, lighting and set design and construction, to character analysis, musical interpretation and performances of fully-staged operas with orchestra, this course seeks to educate students by providing them with opportunities for both onstage and backstage experience.

Opera Production: Hansel and Gretel

Cultural Life Center - Hale Auditorium 
The Roberts Opera Theatre presents scenes from Englebert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, performed by Roberts vocal students, produced and staged by Professor Constance Fee, with set and lighting design by Nathan Clark. Based on the beloved children's story and sung in English, the performance will last approximately 90 minutes. Production is free and open to the public.
