Roberts Participating in Formation of Rochester Threat Advisory Council (ROCTAC)
Roberts Wesleyan College is pleased to announce our participation in the formation of ROCTAC, the Rochester Threat Advisory Council, a collaborative team which will maximize the resources of Roberts Wesleyan College, with law enforcement entities, such as the FBI and the Monroe County Sheriff’s office.
Mark Concordia, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the Homeland Security and Applied Intelligence Program, and Joe Testani, Director of the Justice and Security Institute are on the council and will provide leadership toward the goals of increasing communications between parties and to share strategies and resources. These two leaders have both served for many years as career professionals in law enforcement and have earned significant respect and accolades for their work within our community and NY State.
This innovative approach, which pairs private and public organizations through education and collaboration of resources has already been proven effective.
