Graduate Travels to Mozambique

Elizabeth Osborne ‘16

I will be attending the Harvest School of Missions in Pemba, Mozambique from the end of May until the beginning of August. The leaders of this organization are Heidi Baker and her husband, Roland. They have done amazing things in Mozambique to start churches and orphanages, and they have led many to know Jesus. I hope to learn a lot from them during my stay to prepare for my life ahead as I serve God and people. During my stay I will be spending some time in a “classroom,” but a lot of time with the children in an orphanage. I will also be going on weekly 2- or 3-day missions to poor villages, “the bush,” and garbage dumps to minister to and help the people in those places. I have always wanted to go to Africa and serve, so I am very excited for this opportunity!
