Clubs and Activities

The department offers several social events each semester along with opportunities to serve in local schools and other projects.

The math and science club known as MAEX is another great way for students to get involved in the community and department.

Adopt-A-School  fosters a better understanding of the community's school system, strengthens and improves school programs and curricula, and creates a sense of personal involvement and interaction between organizations and schools.

Faith and Science Lunch Discussions

Each semester the department offers a series of Faith and Science Luncheons. These discussions are designed to build community within the department through explorations of faith grounded in science. Talks are followed by a lively, moderated, and informal discussion.
