    Advertising, Promotions, and Marketing Managers typically do the following:

    • Work with various levels of organizational leadership to discuss topics such as overall marketing strategy, budgets, and contracts
    • Serve either in-house to promote their own organization or in an advertising agency serving a number of clients
    • Serve as the liaison between the client and the advertising agency
    • Plan advertising campaigns, including what platforms to use (such as online media, print, television, billboards, and radio)
