Monday Afternoon Self-Care for Women

Are you one of the many young women struggling with your self-esteem? You’re not alone. Welcome to Monday Afternoon Self-Care! This is a therapeutic group designed to help young women on campus develop and strengthen self-love and self-compassion. We will be working on battling our negative self-talk and appreciating our many strengths. Come join other young women on campus in the CARP 307 conference room for Monday Afternoon Self-Care every Monday at 3:30 PM. Sponsored by the Counseling Center.

This year’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting event will take place at 5:15pm on Monday, November 29 at “the Christmas tree” on Mersereau Greene between Hastings and Garlock. Hot cocoa will be served inside Garlock after the ceremony. I hope you can join us at this special traditional event! Sponsored by the Office of the President and Office of Student Life.

 This student-centered hygiene bank will provide personal care items for students who may be going through financial stress or who may not have the transportation means to acquire such items. Coping and Connections is a new group hosted by the Roberts Counseling Center and led by two psychology doctoral students. Our group will connect students over shared experiences with stress, anxiety, and depression. Together, we will learn new ways of coping. Sponsored by the Counseling Center.
