A Word from the Dean of the School of Nursing

Lead. Educate. Transform. These three words describe goals we have for each of our students as we seek to fulfil our mission of preparing nurses for professional clinical nursing practice, as leaders, and as educators. The School of Nursing has over 2,000 graduates serving regionally, nationally and globally. We are committed to providing a transformational experience at Roberts so that our graduates can go out into the world and serve in nursing and health care with excellence. You will see in this newsletter that our students, faculty and alumni are doing just that!

The School of Nursing remains loyal to our heritage of teaching students to view all individuals in our care as whole, unique, integrated beings created by God with spiritual, physical, psychological, and social elements. We continue to hear that our graduates possess the “Roberts difference” and remain highly sought after for employment.

Over the past several years, we have seen growth in our programs. We are blessed with new and renovated space for student learning with the latest technology and equipment. We were recently approved to offer a new graduate program in Nursing Informatics and we are partnering with colleagues in the School of Business for this offering. We will continue to explore offering new programs to educate nursing professionals to provide for the healthcare needs of our world.

We are excited to be ranked as one of the Most Affordable Online Master’s Degree programs, among the 50 best Christian Colleges and Universities, Best Christian Graduate Schools, and Best Value Christian Colleges and Universities to name a few. We continue to grow and appreciate our alumni who give in so many ways. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we thank each of you for your part in preparing our students for excellence in nursing.
