Recognition of Outstanding Performance & Business Success

Nathaniel Harrington '17 and Theresa Lippa '18 were awarded a $1000 scholarship at the 2016 Small Business Council (SBC) of Rochester’s Business Person of the Year Gala on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Harrington and Lippa were two of only three students in the Rochester area to be selected for this award. This recognition is given to a full-time student, who exemplifies character, academic standing, and high degree of potential for future business leadership.

Nathaniel currently serves as the Roberts Enactus Student President and Theresa is a Roberts Enactus Project Manager. Both are recipients of the 2016 Roberts Wesleyan "Ethics in Action" scholarship  - an award nominated by friends, teamates, and professors for their ethical behavior and descision making. The Ethics in Action competition allows current students to confront real-world ethical dilemmas faced by School of Business alumni in the workplace.

Harrington will also be a recipient of the Rochester Business Ethics Foundation Scholarship that will be awarded Monday, October 17.

The Undergraduate Business Program at Roberts is committed to transforming the mind and building character, providing a hands-on learning experience through customized internships for each student, project based learning outside the classroom, and our nationally competitive Enactus team.
