Suhr ’04 Headed to Olympics in Rio

Jenn Suhr '04 is officially headed to Rio to compete in the 2016 Olympics. She won the pole vault trials at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday, July 10 which clinched her spot at the Olympics. 

Suhr won the trial by clearing 15 feet, 9 inches. This was her 17th national title, the most ever in pole vaulting history. 

We are excited to cheer her on in the Olympics! Stay tuned for details about a special event Roberts Wesleyan will be hosting to celebrate our gold medalist.
