109 Student-Athletes Named to the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll

Congratulations to all the Redhawks  for their outstanding academic success!

On Wednesday afternoon, East Coast Conference Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff, announced the list of 1,125 student-athletes that have been named to the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The Roberts Redhawks placed nearly 47% of their student-athletes on the list with 109 honorees.

For the seventh consecutive year, the number of honorees at the ECC's 11 member institutions and three associate members has increased (1,102 in 2013-14; 979 in 2012-13; 759 in 2011-12; 678 in 2010-11; 654 in 2009-10; 617 in 2008-09; 613 in 2007-08).

"Congratulations to all of the men and women who earned spots on this year's ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll," stated Dranoff.  "Their efforts in the class room, along with all the contributions they make to their campus community in terms of service and athletics will prepare all of these individuals well for life after college."

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or better. This annual recognition, in addition to Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference's mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
