Rivers, a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary, brings 18 years of communication and fundraising experience to the United Way. “In Marsha, we have found a well-qualified professional and also a person who is passionate about Orleans County,” said Bill Hungerford, United Way Board chairman. “She’s the perfect fit for the job.” She starts her United Way tenure at a busy time, as the annual campaign begins Oct. 9.
