Driving Momentum for Student Scholarships

Rochester, NY -  The 31st Annual Golf Tournament was held on June 9 at Brook-Lea Country Club. For three decades, Roberts’ corporate partners and friends have been making a difference in the lives of students. Monday’s tournament raised over $100,000 to the Scholarship Fund for the benefit of students and to the Legacy 150 Campaign Scholarship goal. Over 60 area corporations participate in the event each year and the tournament is fully subscribed.

Giving helps create opportunities for the next generation of Christian leaders. Roberts students encounter higher education through a well-rounded, traditional liberal-arts perspective of learning that is enhanced through a rich tradition of experiential learning. The Roberts community contains numerous examples of experiential learning through the creative learning and teaching that occurs in our classrooms and beyond. Students engage in tangible, real-world opportunities through action. Roberts was founded on the idea that we learn so that we can serve.
