President John A. Martin to Speak at Leadership Breakfast, Oct 18.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan’s President John A. Martin, will be the keynote speaker at the College’s upcoming Leadership Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18. Martin will present “Reflections on Leadership and Education: Past, Present and Future” in the Cultural Life Center located on the Roberts campus at 2301 Westside Drive. Martin will step down as president in May 2014, transitioning the role to a new leader at the College’s spring commencement ceremony.

Dr. Martin came to Roberts as provost in 1996, with a wealth of experience in teaching and academic administration. He later served as the executive vice president of both the College and the newly-formed Northeastern Seminary, responsible for all academic matters, student life issues and financial accountability. In Oct. 2002, he was inaugurated as the tenth president of Roberts Wesleyan College, and the second president of Northeastern Seminary.
