July 15 Roberts Hosts "Marriage Adventures" Cafe' Night

Meet the Authors!

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Roberts Wesleyan will host a “Marriage Adventures”-themed reading event at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, in the B. Thomas Golisano Library on campus to celebrate the launch of a new book by the same name. Attendees are invited to meet Carrie and Ervin Starr, Roberts professors and the authors of “Marriage Adventures,” and enjoy light refreshments.

“Our book tackles content that a lot of Christian marriage books don’t,” Carrie Starr said. “We hope that this event gives guests an opportunity to ask some questions, share some laughs and learn from other couples.”

The program will begin at 7 p.m., with Carrie and Ervin each sharing a favorite passage from “Marriage Adventures.” From there, audience members will be invited to ask questions and participate in a discussion about the book and marriage lessons. This event is free and open to the public. However, space is limited. Interested parties are encouraged to register online at rwcmarriageadventures.eventbrite.com or call 585.594.6200 to reserve a spot.
