What are Faculty Borrowing privileges?
 
  • Faculty can check out materials for 6 months and use the online resources from campus or home.
  • Renewable 2 more times. No Late Fees for Faculty.
  • Please return materials. After 2 Renewals and 50 days overdue items are considered LOST and you are fined for a replacement.
  • To use our online resources you will need to use your campus ID username & password.

How I request Inter-Library Loan?

Can I borrow directly from other Area Academic Libraries?
 
  • For Faculty and Graduate Students of RWC/NES - You can get a FREE Access card for borrowing books at area libraries 1 year membership renewable.
    Ask at the Circulation Desk.

What Professional development skills do you offer?
 
  • Schedule a meeting for a general introduction to the website, the LIBRARY Catalog, databases and other online reference tools.
  • Each training includes a consultation with a librarian, handouts, and additional curricular resources. Contact the Reference Desk

  • Help us improve our Subject Pathfinders with our Faculty -see your Library Liaisons.
  • Assignment Alert (PDF) -- Use this form to let us know when you have a library assignment due. Coming soon!
  • Updating Library Assignments -- The library will update your syllabus to reflect current information such as online links. Please contact the Reference desk for additional information 
  • Handouts The library provides handouts in areas such as searching for book reviews, search techniques, the information cycle,  as well as reading lists for your assignments. Please contact the reference desk for specific handouts you can use in your class.
  • Library House Calls -- Do you need help in your office for specific library access or search?  Give us a call 594-6499!

    The library has many other print and electronic resources to help develop course related assignments.  For more specific information, contact the Reference desk

      How do I schedule a visit to the library with my class?
     

    Visit the Library with your Class for Course Specific Workshops

    • Our librarians will help teach about online research in specific subject areas.
    • Each workshop includes a consultation with a Librarian beforehand and handouts for students.
    • All Workshops take place in the Library Instruction Lab (LIL) -- to reserve this room for your classes, please contact at least one week in advance.
