Classical Singer magazine began in 1988 as The New York Opera Newsletter, providing in-depth insights about the New York opera scene. Classical Singer is dedicated to helping singers find opportunities and to providing resources for singers of all ages and levels. Their website is the online gathering spot for the classical singer community and carries up-to-the minute listings of auditions and competitions. The website contains an archive of all of the magazine’s articles since 1998.

If your Google Scholar search takes you to a publisher’s website that asks you to pay for full text and there is no link to "Get It @ Golisano Library," send the url to firstname.lastname@example.org.
