Curriculum Center Reorganization Project

If you’ve been to the second floor of the Golisano Library recently, you may have noticed a bit of disorganization in the Curriculum Center area. There is a method to the madness, as we are currently reorganizing all 4,000+ books in our juvenile literature collection. When the project is completed, the arrangement will reflect how books are organized in a school's book room. There will be three major categories - nonfiction, picture books, and young adult - with ten color-coded categories within each, and subcategories within each color category. Our goal is to make this section much more browsable and user-friendly to our education students. We have really enjoyed working with the Education faculty on this project! We will make an announcement when the project is complete. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Kellie Barbato, Outreach Librarian and liaison to the School of Education & Social Work, at barbato_kellie@roberts.edu or x6044.
