Media Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing difficulties with classroom media equipment,
check the list below and if you cannot find your problem then please contact us.

Computer is on, but projector is not displaying
|
Press RGB1 or Computer1 on the projector remote for Computer display.
Press Video on the projector remote for DVD/VHS display.

Computer will not turn on
|
Check that the "red" button on the podium is set to on.
|
|
When playing DVD in player, there is a black
box in the middle of the image
|
Check to see if the "Closed Caption" device is set to off.
|
|
Computer is on, video projector is on, but no display.
|
Check that the Computer "A/B" switch is set to Desktop.
|
|
Trying to play audio through the computer or VHS/DVD machine, but
you hear no sound is coming through speakers.
|
Ensure that the audio mixer is on. Check to see that the volume
on the audio mixer is set to the proper level (labeled).
