What are Text Updates?
Roberts Wesleyan College introduces “Text Updates” (messages sent directly to your cell phone) as a tool to help keep you on track and informed. Sign-up now! Or simply create a text message using our Short Code “313131” (instead of a phone number), enter the keyword text “ROBERTS” and then “send.” Within moments you will receive a message from us.
Is there a charge for this?
We offer Text Updates as a free service to you; however, standard text message rates may apply. Any charges originate with your wireless carrier based on your mobile plan.
PLEASE NOTE: You could be charged if you do not have text messaging included in your wireless plan. Most wireless carriers include text message packages with their service agreement check with your mobile provider.
How many texts will I receive?
Approximately 0-5 text messages per month will be sent, with the ability to “STOP” messages at anytime. To end text updates simply reply to any text message sent from Roberts and text “RWC STOP” to end messages.
Who can sign up for Text Updates?
Typically, Text Updates subscribers will be prospective students who are interested in applying to Roberts Wesleyan College. This service is designed for anyone who is interested in learning more about Roberts Wesleyan College and wants to be informed about upcoming events and admission dates and deadlines.
Will you sell my phone number or any of my information?
No, absolutely not! Roberts does not share or sell cell phone numbers with any other parties. We adhere to the industry's guidelines and best practices. Any cell phone numbers, or other information provided, is stored in our database for our use only.
How do I stop receiving Text Updates?
To stop receiving Text Updates, you can reply with the words ‘RWC STOP’ to any text message. It will take 24 to 48 hours to update in our system and you will stop getting text messages from us.

How do I manage my profile?
Manage your profile above (www.roberts.edu/txtupdates) by typing in your mobile number. You will be prompted to enter a PIN. From there, follow the on-screen directions.
