Roberts offers a BA, BS, or 3 Year BA program, each of which will allow you to pursue graduate level psychology degrees.
- As a B.A. Psychology major you will receive a broad background in Psychology with a focus on the social aspects of psychology.
- The B.S. Psychology degree program at Roberts Wesleyan places a much stronger emphasis on the scientific approach. It is designed specifically if you plan to eventually pursue graduate education that is research-oriented and/or linked to doctoral study (Psy.D., Ph.D.).
- The Accelerated 3-Year program in Psychology allows you to complete the B.A. degree in just 3 years.
School Psychology program prepares you to evaluate, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents. This is a three year program with late afternoon and evening classes.
School Counseling merges expertise in areas of education, child development, career development, counseling and consultation. You will earn your degree in only two years in late afternoon and evening classes.
Clinical/School Psychology doctoral program (Psy.D.) offers an innovative four-year curriculum that blends the professional areas of clinical and school psychology, meets educational requirements for licensure as a psychologist in New York State, and includes the provision for meeting the requirements for New York State certification in School Psychology. This program is pending approval from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (anticipated June, 2016).
