Gloria Berent, MHA 1, has been promoted to Director of Perioperative Clinical Services at Rochester General Hospital and now oversees six employees. She credits the tools, strategies, and global healthcare education she learned in the MHA program as being invaluable to her position.
Kurt Koczent, MHA 2, has been recruited to serve as Chief Administrative Office at Finger Lakes Health System in Geneva, NY effective mid-April, 2009.
Alana Hamilton Stefaniak, MHA 3, has assumed the position of Quality Assurance Problem Investigator - Senior Associate, with the American Red Cross.
Anitra Daymon, MHA 3, has a new job at Urban League of Rochester as Supervisor of the Medicaid Service Coordination Department, working with individuals with MR/DD. She thanks Roberts for helping to advance her career!
Maura Lowther, MHA 4, will be starting a new job with Diversified Therapies as the Program Director for the Wound Care Center located at Clifton Springs Hospital.
Elizabeth Amato Fleck, MHA 6, recently had an article published entitled, "Eliciting Greatness: The Role of Leadership Coaching in America's Health Care System”. The article will appear in the November-December 2009 national health care journal, Group Practice Journal, which is published by the American Medical Group Association.
