Things To Do Before Commencement Weekend

The following required documents must be submitted in order for you to participate in the Commencement ceremony and to graduate:

    Cap and Gown Order Form
    Application for a Degree
    Application to Major (Traditional Undergraduate students only)

If you have not turned in one or more of the above, please contact the Registration Office immediately at 585.594.6966. 

Commencement Announcements may be purchased through SignatureA.com.  See sample displays located outside the bookstore in the Voller Athletic Center and in Garlock Dining Commons. 

Request a Sign Language interpreter for yourself and/or a guest(s), if needed, by Friday, April 19.  Please call Michelle Cronk, Office of Advancement at 585.594.6837 to make your request.

Complete and submit the Online Order Form for ceremony tickets, DVD orders, and/or brunch at Garlock by Thursday, May 2.

Request special GUEST(S) accommodations if your guest(s) will be using a wheelchair, walker, crutches, and/or require an extra-sturdy chair (275 lbs. or greater). Please call Michelle Cronk, Office of Advancement at 585.594.6837 to request accommodations for your guest(s) by Friday, May 3.

Request special GRADUATE seating for yourself, due to special circumstances.  If you will be using a wheelchair, walker, crutches, and/or require an extra-sturdy chair (275 lbs. or greater), please call the Registration Office at 585.594.6596 by Friday, May 3.

Cap, Gown, and Ticket Pick Up Information:  Pick up your keepsake cap, gown, and any previously ordered tickets in Rinker Community Service Center, lower level, Room 150 on one of the dates noted below. Caps and gowns cannot be picked up before the dates referenced below, however tickets can either be picked with the caps and gowns, or anytime after they have been ordered. When picking up these items, please take a moment to sign the Graduate Scroll, an archived document containing signatures of graduates throughout the years. Additionally, please take time to complete a Graduate Career Survey and Alumni Form.
