Information for Adult Degree Completion Program and Graduate Program Students

All graduates are expected to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. If extenuating circumstances prevent your participation, it is important that you submit an email with a request to graduate in absentia to Dr. David Basinger, at ProvostsOffice@roberts.edu.   

Below you will find basic information to help you prepare for this day of celebration. Please also use the menu links at left for complete details regarding the day. The checklist will be especially helpful.

TICKETS:  
> TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR GUESTS OF ALL AGES (including babies and young children). 
No Reserved Seating in the arena.
Guests should be seated by 1:45 p.m.

> Each student graduate may order up to FIVE (5) GUEST TICKETS for seating and may place DVD orders through Online Order Form by April 30. The online order form is accessible only to the student graduate. Please order only the number of tickets you will need.  After ordering, pick up tickets in Office of Student Life, Rinker Community Service Center, M-F, 8-5.

> The student graduate may request  additional ceremony tickets by sending an email to: SW_studentdev@roberts.edu, with the subject line "Extra Commencement Ticket" This will be a first-come, first-served 'extra' ticket distribution. You will be notified via reply email within two-three days of your request, whether an additional ticket is available.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:
> To request a Sign Language Interpreter for you or for your guest, or a special accommodation for seating for your GUEST (due to use of wheelchair, walker, crutches), please contact: Michelle Cronk, Office of Advancement at 585.594.6837

> If you, the Student Graduate, need a special seating accommodation, please contact: Kevin Kettinger, Office of Registration at 585.594.6596.

 
CAP & GOWN pick-up in room 150, Rinker Community Service Center:    
> Wed., May 6, 11am-7pm
> Thurs., May 7, 11am-7pm
> Fri., May 8, 11am-4pm

> Guest Tickets not yet picked up, photographer information, and
line-up location information will be packaged with your cap and gown.

> Please arrive to your designated line-up location by 1:15 p.m. on May 9.

Commencement Announcements may be purchased through SignatureA.com, starting in mid-late March.
