Teaching is a very valued profession. The Teacher Education Programs at Roberts Wesleyan College offer students an exciting and dynamic experience. Students enrolled at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are given the opportunity to gain critical pedagogical knowledge and skills in a collaborative academic setting. Graduates are highly prepared to teach in their specific disciplines with solid understanding of the principles of effective teaching guiding their decision making. The Teacher Education Programs are designed with each individual student in mind, and promote close faculty-student relationships that often continue beyond graduation.

Roberts Wesleyan College has had a long and distinguished tradition of preparing teachers in programs approved by the New York State Education Department. Successful completion of both our undergraduate and graduate teacher education programs qualifies students for certification in New York State and most other states. We offer not only stimulating academic programs, but enjoy a close relationship with area school districts that provide students with practical hands-on experiences.
