Emergency Notification

During the winter months, weather conditions in upstate NY can make traveling hazardous and therefore ill-advised. NES has established the following procedures to notify students if the campus will be closing due to inclement weather or any other emergency (e.g., loss of power). Students should check for email alerts on their campus accounts. If they think the campus may be closing, contact the institutional hotline at 585.594.6999 (press 4 when prompted for a voice recording). As conditions can and will vary greatly at class locations across the state, students should always consult local weather authorities along with state travel advisories and then use their best judgment to determine if travel is safe.
