Start Small, Think Big!

Thinking of starting a small business?  It’s okay to start small, but you’ve got to think big to succeed!

Imagine where you want your business to be five years and 10 years from now. Identify a niche need you can fill, conduct your competitive research, and develop your marketing plan. When you invest the time to really think through the details of the service you’re offering and prepare a strong business plan, you’ll increase your chances of success. But if your research shows too many competitors with similar offerings, you may want to focus on a slightly different service… or focus on an alternate target market.

When considering a name for your business, think about the future. Check out the article from Inc.com for a comprehensive overview of “How to Choose the Best Name for Your Business.”
