Women’s Soccer Signs Drenth
Head Women’s Soccer Coach Dan Berg is pleased to announce that Ashley Drenth, Washingtonville, NY, has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Roberts Wesleyan College.
Drenth a 5’10 defender comes to Roberts from Nyack College where she was a 2008 NCCAA East Region Selection. Prior to Nyack, Drenth was a five year player for Washingtonville HS where she led them to a pair of sectional championships. She was a three time Times-Herald selection and a 3rd Team All-State Selection. Drenth played her club soccer for Quickstrike FC where she helped lead her team to the U-20 North American Championship game.
“I am excited that Ashley has chosen to continue her career at Roberts” commented Head Coach Dan Berg. “Ashley brings a great deal of experience to the defense. She has played at a very high level and competes every day. She also is a good student and is a good fit with the mission of Roberts Wesleyan College. I expect Ashley to have a very good career here at Roberts and am looking forward to having her join the team in the fall.”
Ashley is the daughter of Dean and Renee Drenth and plans to major in Elementary Education while at Roberts.
