Assistant Coach - Jennifer Dorr

Jennifer Dorr, formerly Jennifer Scribani and a 2006 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan, is an outstanding runner with many collegiate and post-collegiate accomplishments.  Jennifer received NAIA All-American honors in the 3000m during the 2006 indoor track and field season.  She also earned NCCAA All-American recognition for cross country and track and field on several occasions.  Jennifer currently holds Roberts Wesleyan College records for the Mile and 800m, in addition to many other top ten performances on the Roberts Wesleyan record board.  Her dedication and blossoming talent has inspired her to continue her tireless involvement in the sport of competitive distance running.  Jennifer continues to train intensely and compete in local area races.  In the spring and summer of 2009 she posted personal records in the 3000m (10:14), 10k (37:39), Mile (5:01), and 5k (17:35).

Jennifer’s years of competitive running and her desire to uncover the mysteries of endurance training have turned her into an outstanding coach as well.  Jennifer has been working with the distance program at Roberts since 2006, and she continues to have a hand in the progress seen over the last few years.  She has worked closely with the women’s team and has earned their respect and trust despite her young age.

Jennifer is also a substitute teacher in several school districts in the Rochester area.  She hopes to continue her teaching career by obtaining a permanent position in Rochester.  Jennifer has a special interest in working with children with autism and hopes to find an opportunity in that field.

Jennifer’s husband, Andrew, is also a member of the coaching staff.  They live in Scottsville, NY.

Assistant Coach - Andrew Dorr

Andrew Dorr, a 2007 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, and has been a member of the coaching staff since 2008.  Dorr competed in scholastic and collegiate cross-country and track and field from the years 1997-2007.  With twenty seven seasons of competitive distance running under his belt, a B.A. in Biology, and years of informal research in the area of distance running, Dorr brings to the program a blend of raw experience and an understanding of human physiology as it relates to distance running.  Dorr plans on pursuing a master’s degree in exercise physiology.

In joining the coaching staff, Dorr brings enthusiasm and vision.  Dorr hopes to establish a new culture of running; one where training is a lifestyle and not a brief exercise session.  While Dorr was plagued with a variety of injuries throughout his collegiate career, the time he spent treating and preventing injuries has proved to be very valuable as he guides athletes through injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Andrew Dorr is also an avid cyclist.  He enjoys everything from hammering the hills of southern Monroe County to pacing the cross-country team through long runs along the Greenway.

Andrew and Jennifer enjoy coaching together and hope to continue that partnership into old age.
