Mark Fish’s second season as the Roberts Wesleyan College Head Men’s Soccer Coach has been memorable. With only 8 players returning from the 2005 season, Coach Fish and staff recruited 19 players that would help the Roberts Men’s Soccer Team compete at the national colligate level. The Raiders finished their 2006 season 13-5-2 and were the 2006 American Mideast Conference (AMC) North Division Co-Champions and the 2006 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) East Regional Champions. The Roberts Men’s team was one of eight teams to play for the NCCAA National Championship in Kissimmee, FL. The Raiders season ended positively, with a 2-1 record at the NCCAA National Tournament earning them a third place honors.
Coach Fish was recognized as the 2006 American Mideast North Conference Co- Coach of the year and the 2006 NCCAA Eastern Regional Coach of the year.
Prior to taking the helm at Roberts Wesleyan College, Coach Fish had eleven years of College experience with three Empire Eight College Men’s Soccer programs in the area.
Coach Fish served as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Alfred University from 1991 - 1993, Nazareth College for the 1995 -1996 seasons, and St. John Fisher College from 1996 - 2003.
In 2004, Coach Fish served as the boy’s high school soccer program assistant with the Spencerport Central School District. The Spencerport team won the 2004 AA Sectional High School Boy’s Soccer Championship. He has served as director of coaching with the Perinton Recreation Soccer Camp and the associate director of coaching with FAST FEET Soccer Training in Pittsford.
Coach Fish who has a Masters in Counseling and is a NY State License Marriage and Family Therapist also serves as an adjunct counselor at the Roberts Wesleyan College Counseling Center.
Coach Fish resides in Fairport with his wife Julie and their two children Emily and Aidan. |
Assistant Coach - John Berardicurti
Coach John Berardicurti (Coach B.) has played a major role with the Roberts Wesleyan College Men’s Soccer program these past two seasons. Coach B. brings a tremendous amount of experience and expertise to the program and challenges each player to be the best player and person they can be on and off the field.
Prior to Roberts, Coach Berardicurti spent 7 seasons as the Assistant Coach with Nazareth College. Coach Berardicurti had the wonderful opportunity of working with the legendary Coach Doug May during his tenure at Nazareth.
Coach Berardicurti brings to Roberts Wesleyan College a wealth of soccer coaching experience, including a total of 14 years coaching at various levels in the Spencerport School District. During his tenure, the boys' teams at Spencerport won six Monroe County divisional titles, five sectional titles, and made two state tournament appearances.
Coach Berardicurti also served as an assistant coach at the University of Rochester for seven seasons. During that time, the Yellowjackets made four NCAA tournament appearances and won three University Athletic Association championships. He also had coaching stints at Monroe Community College and Genesee Community College.
Coach Berardicurti has coached at numerous camps and clinics and has coached the Men's Open Division at the Empire State Games.
Coach Berardicurti is a graduate of Monroe Community College and University of Buffalo and is certified in elementary education. In June 2005, Coach Berardicurti retired from the Spencerport School District where he was a teacher in the Spencerport School District since 1973.
Coach Berardicurti's resides in the town of Spencerport with his wife Norma. John and Norma have three grown children. Sarah, a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, James, who played four seasons with the Nazareth Golden Flyers before graduating in 2001, and Katie, a member of the 2001 MCC Women’s Soccer National Championship Team.

Assistant Coach - Paul Cialone
Coach Cialone is in his first year with the Roberts Wesleyan College Men’s Soccer program. A retired surgeon, Paul is an assistant coach that has unique expertise in both goalkeeping and strength and conditioning training. He is owner of Maksymum Performance, a sport performance facility in Rochester.
During his coaching career, Paul has worked with several clubs, colleges and private athletes as a head coach and goalkeeping specialist. He also has an extensive playing background, having played at the professional level in Europe (Fiorentina, Italian Serie A; Italy U23 National program), as well as at the Academy level (Belgrade Red Star, Yugoslavia; Frosinone, Italy).
Coach Cialone has been a tremendous addition to the Roberts Wesleyan College Men’s Soccer Staff.
Paul lives in Pittsford with his wife, Juli-Ann, and their triplet sons, Matthew, Michael and Peter, age 10. |
Assistant Coach - Rob Arrendell
Coach Rob Arrendell has spent the past 6 years as the Head Men's Reserve Team Soccer Coach at Roberts Wesleyan. Due to family commitments, Coach Arrendell now supports the program as an Assistant Coach. Coach Arrendell holds a degree in Biology and a Masters in Education from Roberts Wesleyan where he played for the Raiders as a defender from 1996 to 2000 and made two consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearances.
Coach Arrendell is a secondary science teacher in the Rochester City School District. During his summers, he is a science teacher for the Rochester Museum & Science Center summer camps. Rob and his wife Tabitha reside in Chili, NY with their son Moises.

Spencerport High School standout forward, Dominic Coco, has signed a Letter of Intent to play for Roberts Wesleyan College next season. Coco, a four year varsity player, helped Spencerport High School earn two Section V Class AAA Championships (2004, 2007). [ Click To View Story ] Roberts Wesleyan College is pleased to announce the signing of Brent Owens. Owens, a 6’4 forward for the Letchworth Indians’ basketball team and a striker on the soccer team will be a two-sport athlete at Roberts in the fall. [ Click To View Story ] |
