Dr. Michael Landrum Retirement Concert
Dr. Michael Landrum, Professor of Piano and Film Studies, retired this month after 33 years of service. On April 29, Dr. Landrum performed Beethoven’s Fantasia in C Minor for Piano, Chorus and Orchestra with the Roberts Wesleyan College Community Orchestra, Chorale and alum. Approximately 500 people attended. After the concert, the Department of Music & Performing Arts and the President’s Office hosted a reception celebration where he was showered with praise and admiration by administration, faculty and staff as well as current and former students. He looks forward to moving south near his family and warmer weather. He will be greatly missed.
