“If it’s meant to be, it will work out”. That sentiment was always in my mind and on my heart as I thought about teaching nursing at Roberts Wesleyan College. As a young girl I had felt led to become a nurse first, then a nursing instructor. I believed if God had put it on my heart, He would bring it to fruition.
After graduating from Roberts in 1977, I worked in a variety of settings before taking time off to raise our three children. I was then led to teach nursing at a local community college which laid the ground work for my position here at Roberts. I feel as though I am doing what God set out for me to do, and in so doing, have found great satisfaction.
