Music Performance
The Bachelor of Science degree in Performance includes an emphasis on pedagogy. This program is for music majors whose career interests include performance as well as private and class-studio teaching. The program provides many and varied performance opportunities and training to develop practical studio-teaching skills.
The program prepares students for graduate school and for teaching children and adults in private and group lessons. Field experiences in teaching are required.
All performance majors are required to perform a Junior and Senior recital.
