Pace Institute Piano Teacher's Workshop
The Pace Institute piano teacher’s workshop is designed to expand a piano teacher’s pedagogy skills beyond those of traditional method books. Upon the completion of each level, teachers will receive certification through the International Piano Teaching Foundation under the direction of Dr. Robert Pace. During the sessions, participants will be introduced to innovative ways of teaching beginning repertoire, technique, sightreading, transposition, improvisation in many styles, theory, aural skills, playing by ear, jazz and rock modes…and lots more! Workshops will also include composition, creation of an accompaniment disc for use on electronic keyboards, group lessons and making visual aids for music learning games. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible.
